Women and Girls Football Festival
Current England Captain Faye White, will be visiting Northampton for the Women and Girls Football festival on the 11th April. The event is organised by Northamptonshire FA and the Youth Sport Project of Northamptonshire Sport as part of a Women's & Girls football project supported by the young people from the County Youth Sports Forum.
The event is for women and girls (aged 10 years +) , to come along and take part in a 'skills, drills, tricks & flicks day' with England's very own International player. There will be mini competitions, coaching sessions, opportunities to join or volunteer at your local girls football club and the chance to meet the England player through out the day with coaching demonstrations and question and answer session.
Kathryn Hall (Northants FA) said 'I am so excited this is a fantastic opportunity for women and girls in Northamptonshire to come along and take part in football and meet the England Captain, one of England's finest footballers', and get involved in football.'
