Oundle get the RFU 'Seal of Approval'
On Sunday 16th January were awarded the RFU "Seal of Approval" officially by Derek Watkins, Marketing and Communications Manager of the East Midlands Rugby Union. The presentation was made to Dave Stewart, co-ordinator for the project at the Occupation Road Club following the Sunday morning training session for the 200 plus children at the club. The accreditation is in recognition of the clubs efforts to create a safe,
enjoyable and welcoming environment for all to come and enjoy the sport of Rugby Union. The club is based in the community and the awards recognise this as a valuable part. Oundle who were formed in 1976 were the second club in the East Midlands to gain
this level, quite an achievement considering the size of the club.
