NSport scores high with Quest
Northamptonshire Sport has been awarded Highly Commended status following its recent Quest Assessment, scoring 80%, which is one of the highest scores for sports development awarded since the scheme began.
Northamptonshire Sport became the first county sports partnership to achieve Quest in 2003, so this is the second time that Northamptonshire Sport has been awarded with Quest. In line with the scheme's desire to recognise continuous improvement, the team managed to beat its first assessment score by 7%.
Gary Sheppard, Active Sports Manager for Northamptonshire Sport said:
"It has been a great team effort over the last two years to move from where we were to our present standards. Quest has been an invaluable aid in our drive to be better …. Our goal is to now help others through this rewarding scheme. There are still areas of improvement but by going through the process we know where they are and we will be working to address them over the next two years".
Vanessa Brown, the new Director of Northamptonshire Sport said: "the team has worked really hard in achieving Quest and the score of 80% recognises the great work being done by the Partnership.
