Northamptonshire stars shine at BBC East Awards
Corby gymnast Daniel Keatings was among the winners at this year's BBC East Sports Awards. Daniel was awarded the Outstanding Sporting Achievment award following his all-round silver medal at the Gymnastics World Championships earlier in the year.
The BBC East Sports Awards, hosted by Look East presenter Stewart White, recognised the amazing efforts of the region's biggest stars and its unsung heroes, with Northamptonshire's contingent well represented amongst the nominees and winners.
Jacquie Marshall, Northamptonshire Sports Awards Coach of the Year, picked up the regional Coach of the Year award,while Brackley based Brawn GP, winners of this year's Formula 1 Drivers and Constructors World Championships, won Team of the Year.
