Congratulations to the First Tennis Club in Northants to receive Clubmark
Northampton Lawn Tennis Club has become the first tennis club to receive Sport England's Clubmark Accreditation. This is the national kitemark which recognises clubs as safe, child friendly and effective. They are only the 16th tennis club to receive the accolade nationally.
The club were presented with their award at an open day on Saturday 14th June where they were encouraging new people to participate in tennis and join the club.
Hazel Ward pictured above said "hopefully this will provide the impetus for other tennis clubs in the county to follow suit and become accredited."
