Northamptonshire Sport Management
Northamptonshire Sports Partnership has a management structure in place to ensure it operates effectively. There is a Director who provides leadership and management, as well as an operational team of staff (click here for staff and to see their roles).
All partners of Northamptonshire Sport form the Stakeholder Group where key decisions are taken via a voting procedure. This is a constituted group and all partners have signed up to a Memorandum of Understanding which identifies the procedures for the Partnerships operation.
In addition, the Director of Northamptonshire Sport is supported by an Executive Board. The Executive Board is a collection of people deemed to have expertise in key areas. The Executive will provide the business direction for the partnership, will manage the financial concerns of the partnership, as well as monitoring work against quarterly targets set out by the Annual Delivery Plan for the Core Team.
The Partnership will be monitored quarterly by the Executive and in turn the Stakeholders against targets.
Four Critical Success Factor will also be used to collectively monitor all the Partnership work and these are:
- Increasing level of participation in sport, physical activity and active recreation by 1% annually (CSF1)
- Raising the profile of N-sport at all levels of sport, physical activity and recreation throughout the County (CSF2)
- Supporting the local workforce through investment, training and deployment to provide quality experience in sport (CSF3)
- Providing an integrated and coordinated sports system within Northamptonshire (CSF4)
